Heart&Stroke Ski for Heart has been a fundraising tradition in the Alberta Rocky Mountains for decades. Friends and family, dedicated to eliminating heart disease and stroke, register for the event, raise funds, then head to the mountains to celebrate.

Each participant must raise a minimum of $250, and may receive a luxurious room at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, at a special discounted rate. Participants can also earn great incentives – such as discounted lift tickets at the local ski hills, room upgrades, or tickets to the Ski for Heart banquet.

Here’s how to become a Ski for Heart participant:

Register. Become a participant at Lake Louise or Jasper by registering online or download our registration form and send it in. You can choose to participate and fundraise as an individual, or put together your own team (TWO or more fundraisers) of family, friends and co-workers. Online registration and downloadable forms available August 15.

Raise funds. Every donation makes a difference! Determine your fundraising goal (minimum $250) and reach it. Our online fundraising tools make it easy and secure to ask everyone you know to join in our mission. You can also download a pledge form to record your offline donations.

We encourage you to raise more money by offering you great incentives along your fundraising journey. For example, the more you raise, the more Fairmont Dollars you could earn to offset the cost of any Fairmont guest services during your weekend celebration - including reducing your room rate even further!

Celebrate. The Fairmont Resorts offer something for every winter enthusiast - from x-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating and hiking on-site, to incredible downhill skiing minutes away. Pamper your body and soul at the spa with a massage and facial. Join the kids in their special activities like movie night. Meet other people dedicated to the vision of the Heart and Stroke Foundation at the Ski for Heart Banquet.
